About us
Bendall Metal Recycling Ltd offers a comprehensive
waste management service specialising in metal recycling, purchasing all ferrous and non-ferrous grades.
We are as happy dealing with small quantities of metal
from a householder as we are with larger amounts from
well-known nationwide companies. We offer a complete collection service ranging from scrap car collections and skip hire to 40 yard roll-on roll-off bins for factory clearing work and we are ideally situated to link with the Midlands, South Wales and the West Country.
Qualifications
Joint Company Directors, Rob and Lucy, are both
qualified to WAMITAB Level 4 Metal Recycling. Rob has further trained in End of Life Vehicle Processing with Lucy concentrating on Hazardous Wastes. All staff receive
on-site training to include Asbestos Awareness and
Fire Extinguisher Training.
Compliance
Bendall Metal Recycling Ltd holds a full permit issued by the Environment Agency. An approved Fire Prevention Plan is also in place. We are registered as a Scrap Metal Dealer with the Forest of Dean District Council and also hold
an Upper Tier Waste Carriers Registration with the Environment Agency. Membership of the RHA (Road Haulage Association) also ensures that our knowledge
of the haulage industry is current and valid.
Overseas
We utilise our Container Tilt Loader to fill shipping containers to fulfil our export commitments. India, Turkey and Dubai are all destinations which have received our processed materials in the last few months.

About our services
Scrap Metal
We purchase any quantity of scrap metal. Our well-trained staff are happy to help with unloading. We deal with all types of ferrous metals such as steel, iron and cast.
Non-ferrous metals include copper, aluminium, lead, cable, stainless steel, batteries and alloy wheels.
End of Life Vehicles
Delivered by you or collected by us, we are able to provide the complete service when scrapping your car.
We are registered with the
Environment Agency and the DVLA and produce a Certificate of Destruction for every vehicle we scrap. All vehicles are depolluted using top of the range equipment which is regularly serviced by the supplier to ensure we exceed industry guidelines set out to protect the environment. No V5 Logbook? Skip Hire
We are able to provide skips for the disposal of your scrap metal. We stock 2-8 cubic yard builders' skips, 10-18 cubic yard factory skips and 20-40 cubic yard roll on roll off skips. We also have a flatbed roll on roll off skip, suitable for over size machinery. Please contact the office on 01594 844243 if you would like to discuss which skip would be the most suitable for you.
Recycling
We are a modern yard and our equipment reflects this. The proud owners of 2 Fuchs 350 material grab machines, both purchased within the last 18 months, ensure
that downtime is a thing of the past! A Taurus Shear / Baler and a purpose-built car depollution rig ensure that all materials are recycled to the highest environmental standards.
Payment
We make payment by ‘Next Day’ or ‘Faster Payment’ transfer into a bank account. We are happy to open an account for payments to be made weekly or monthly. We are required by law to request that a customer provides their own photo identification such as a driving licence or shot gun certificate and proof of current address e.g. council tax demand. Our software system asks that these details are updated every
3 months.
